Rover gets set for Martian road trip

A mosaic of images captured by a camera on the end of the Curiosity rover's robotic arm shows the rover itself, with a 3-mile-high peak known as Mount Sharp or Aeolis Mons in the background. Curiosity is due to head toward that mountain next year.It's taken longer than expected, but NASA's Curiosity rover is finally getting set for its first drilling operation and a months-long trip to a Martian mountain.
